NaK™ Equine is a women-owned company created by two lifelong equestrians who shared the same frustration: traditional electrolytes were messy, wasteful and often refused by the horses who needed them most. Together, they set out to create a smart, clean and more effective solution.
The result is the NaK™ Bar — the first electrolyte bar for horses. Made with natural ingredients and minimal packaging, it delivers essential electrolytes in a simple, palatable format horses eat. NaK™ Bar reflects our commitment to practicality, sustainability and equine wellness.

Laura Miller
Co-Founder

Laura brings more than 30 years of experience in product branding, marketing and strategic business development. A lifelong horsewoman, she recognized that the equine supplement space lacked products that were both effective and thoughtfully designed.
When her own horse refused all types of pastes, Laura saw an opportunity to rethink how electrolytes could be delivered.
She leads NaK™ Equine’s brand vision, product positioning and market strategy, ensuring every detail reflects the company’s commitment to quality, clarity and sustainability.
Anna Haagensen
Co-Founder
Anna has spent her entire life in the horse world; riding, competing in dressage, breeding sport horses in Brazil and coaching riders across disciplines. Her passion lies in the complete equine athlete: performance, nutrition, hydration and daily management.
Her deep research into electrolytes and mineral balance became personal when her horse required emergency colic surgery. With dangerously low calcium levels and a refusal to eat electrolyte supplements, Anna began experimenting with a new delivery format, something horses would willingly consume.
Anna leads NaK™ Equine’s product formulation, ingredient research and equine industry insight.
